Cancellation Policy

Many of our walkers, sitters, and overnight caretakers are in high demand. Due to the nature of the job, our contractors are often picking what jobs they will take on. If you decide to cancel service, we do reserve the right to determine if a cancellation fee is in effect for the following circumstances:

 

  • Our contractor shows up for the walk and a walk is no longer needed = 100% due.

  • A 24 hour notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee

    • Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full​

  • Cancellation of overnight care could result in one full day's charge. For more information on overnight care and overnight care cancellation policy, click here. 

  • Emergency cancellations will be assessed on a case by case basis.  

While we strive to accommodate you and your pets to the best of our abilities, last minute requests do cause us to have to rearrange our schedules to fulfill your needs.

 

We are happy to help, but requests after business hours the day before and requests the day of will result in a $10 fee.

 

This fee can be applied to all services and goes directly to the contractor for any inconvenience.

In the rare event of an emergent situation (pet requires immediate medical assistance, an issue with the home etc) there is an additional $25/hour charge that goes to the sitter for their time and energy with the emergency. 

 

We understand that things come up at the last minute so we do our best to be flexible and accommodating in those situations. However, for most of our contractors, petcare is their livelihood. We make every effort to be on time for your pet; we expect the same consideration when canceling. In the case of emergencies, discretion will be used to determine if there is a charge or if it is waived. Thank you for your understanding. 

Short Notice Policy

We understand that there may be last minute travel requirements or another plan didn't work out. We try our best to serve you and your pets' needs at the "last minute." 

Requests after business hours (6 pm) the day before and the day of will result in a $10 fee.

For our overnight sitting services: In the event that your plans change and you come home early, we require notice prior to

5 PM the day before in order to not incur a charge. 

In the case of emergencies and such, we will use our discretion to determine if there is a charge or if it's waived. We understand that things come up last minute and we do our best to be flexible and accommodating. Thank you for your understanding.
